Family Information Night for incoming 6th grade students & families

Dear Families of incoming 6th grade students,

We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to Mountain View! The transition to middle school marks an exciting new chapter filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and discovery. Our staff is eager to support your child as they transition into this new learning environment.

To help your family feel prepared and informed, we invite you to attend our Family Information Night on Tuesday February 4th from 6pm-7pm, held in the Commons at Mountain View Middle School. 

The Family Information Night is designed to provide essential information about the 6th-grade experience, including academic expectations, behavioral expectations, extracurricular activities, AVID, sports and ways for families to stay involved. You’ll also have the chance to meet some of our staff, tour the school, and ask any questions you may have.

We encourage all families to attend this important evening as we work together to ensure a smooth and successful start to the school year. 

We invite you to complete this brief survey to help guide the topics and information we will present.
