PE with Mr. Kain

Hello View Ridge Families,

Our Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders have been practicing techniques for rolling a ball/bowling, and throwing underhand and catching.
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been learning/practicing tactics involved in team sports, specifically related to handball.

Winter break is coming up. I want to encourage you to get your student(s) moving during the time away from school. Whether it's doing squats, push ups, or jumping jacks in between episodes/commercials of your favorite holiday show or movie, or getting out on family walks or hikes, strive for at least 60 minutes of activity play/movement for you and your kids.

We will be performing our second round of fitness testing in January.
If you have a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader you can ask them what their goals are for each exercise (pacer run test, push up test, sit up test, and the sit and reach test).

Warm regards,
Andrew Kain
